The marks that get described rather than named
Three entries publish something about what their mark looks like: that it moves, that it covers the frame, or the exact words and corner. Every other entry names a mark and describes nothing. As of 2026-09-22.
| Generator | Free tier | Document read |
|---|---|---|
| D-ID | Full-screen watermark on the trial | pricing page |
| Sora | Visible moving watermark on downloads | Sora 2 system card |
| Wan | Console always stamps AI generated | video generation guide |
Inclusion rule. Entries whose pages publish an attribute of the visible mark itself, such as its motion, its extent or its position. Naming the mark without describing it is not counted. Order. Alphabetical by generator name.
1Three attributes, each from a different kind of page
A system card says the watermark is visible and moves, which rules out a fixed corner badge. An interface reference gives the text of a stamp and the corner it occupies, which lets a file be compared with the documentation. A pricing page says a watermark is full-screen, which is the only extent published anywhere here.
None of the three sets out to describe a mark. The detail arrives as a by-product of what each document is for: a safety enumeration, instructions for a caller, and a justification printed beside a limitation. Candour is not the variable; purpose is.
2Why the attribute chosen matters more than its precision
Extent decides whether output is branded or unusable. A corner badge leaves footage that can be cropped or lived with; a full-screen mark leaves nothing outside itself to keep, which turns a trial into a demonstration. Two cells that both read watermark are not the same finding.
Motion decides what a crop achieves. A mark that travels cannot be reliably excluded by reframing, which is the first thing anybody tries. Position narrows the same question without settling it: knowing a stamp is in the lower right tells a reader where to look and not how much of the frame it occupies.
3What is unpublished on every entry, including these three
Size, opacity and behaviour at other aspect ratios appear nowhere in the register. A vertical crop of a horizontal generation is an ordinary operation in short-form video, and no vendor says what happens to its mark under one.
The register does not fill those from samples. A mark visible in one downloaded clip is one clip rather than a documented behaviour, and promoting that into a cell would put unverifiable precision beside carefully sourced values. The columns stay at not documented and the gap stays visible.

- Paid tierThe API request has a boolean watermark parameter that defaults to false; set true it adds a watermark in the lower-right corner with the text AI Generatedthe API surface, default off

Every row above is read from the vendor page named beside it, on 2026-09-22. The same values in register form are on the support table, the rule for this column is on the free tier column page, and what may fill a cell at all is on the what earns a row page. Other findings: paid plans still marked, files already generated.
