1Present tense everywhere else, past tense here
Every other row in this column answers a question about what the product does from now on. A grid has no grammar for anything else: a column describes what a subscription buys going forward. Licensing terms have to describe the standing of material, which forces them to say something about material that already exists.
So this is the one cell in the column that is about files rather than about a plan. It says that a set of already-generated clips is permanently in one state, and that no amount of later payment moves them out of it. The claim is narrow and it is unusually actionable.
2What it costs a production to plan around
On the plan-gated rows an upgrade is a purchase that can wait until delivery approaches, because the mark comes off whatever is generated afterwards. Here a week of trial output is not material a later payment can clean up. It has to be generated again, at whatever the new plan costs, with whatever variation the model introduces the second time.
That second clause is the part people underestimate. Regenerating is not re-exporting: a generative model asked the same question twice does not return the same file, so the clean version of an approved shot is a different shot. The decision to trial on a free plan is therefore a decision about the material, not only about the invoice.
3The same rule, running in the other direction
The guide also covers cancellation. New generations after a downgrade fall under the Free plan terms, described as limited usage, non-commercial use and possibly including a watermark, while the clean files produced while the subscription was active are not described as changing. Two plans, Free and Lite, share one answer in this column.
Both directions turn on the same pivot: the date a file was generated. That makes this row the one place on the site where the generation date matters more than the reading date, and the reason the cell text carries the permanence clause instead of just naming the plan.
