1Two mechanisms, and the same empty cell for both

This row carries more marking than any other generator here: a signal inside the picture and a credential attached to the container around it. Neither is described as configurable, so one cell covers two mechanisms that behave differently under ordinary handling.

The register keeps them apart in the file-contents column and merges them here, which is a limitation of a four-column shape rather than a reading. What this cell supports is narrow and useful: nothing a caller sends changes what either mechanism does.

2The vendor's own caveat is the nearest thing to a route

The user guide says a Content Credentials check should indicate the file was generated unless the metadata has been removed. That is not a control the vendor offers; it is an acknowledgement that ordinary handling can take the outer layer off. It is also the only durability limit published by any vendor in this register.

So there is a difference between the two mechanisms that this column cannot hold. A re-encode through an editor is the operation that separates a credential from a file, and the same operation is not described as affecting the invisible watermark. One layer is fragile by the vendor's own account and the other is unaddressed.

3What an empty control cell means on a metered service

There are no tiers here to cross and no settings page described, because access is metered usage of a cloud service. The blank is therefore not an omission from a list of options; it records that the documents describing this model do not present marking as an option at all.

A reader should not convert that into the mark cannot be removed. The claim is about the published documents, which is what an integrator can rely on when committing to a client. Whether an undocumented flag exists is a support question, and support answers are not a source here.
