Plan grids as the place a marking claim lives
Nine of the fifteen generators here are read from a pricing grid and nothing else. A grid answers one question well, which plan removes the mark, and is not built to answer any of the others. As of 2026-09-22.
| Generator | The line the grid carries | Document read |
|---|---|---|
| D-ID | Still marked on Lite; clean above it | pricing page |
| Fliki | No watermark on the paid plans | pricing page |
| HeyGen | Removal from Creator ($29/mo) | pricing page |
| Kling AI | Removal from Standard ($10/mo) | membership plans |
| LTX Studio | No watermarking from Lite ($15/mo) | pricing page |
| Pictory | No watermark from Starter ($25/mo yearly) | pricing page |
| Pika | Watermark-free from $28 Pro | pricing page |
| Runway | Watermark-free on paid plans | pricing page |
| Synthesia | Remove Synthesia logo from Starter ($29/mo) | pricing page |
Inclusion rule. Generators whose recorded values all come from a page whose purpose is to sell a subscription. A vendor read from any other kind of document is on its own page here. Order. Alphabetical by the name in the first column.
1A grid is written to make an upgrade obvious
The purpose of the document decides what can be read off it. A pricing grid exists to move a visitor from one column to a column further right, so every line on it is chosen because it makes that move look worthwhile. Watermark removal earns its place for exactly that reason, and it is printed in whatever form makes the gap between columns clearest.
That purpose is why the crossing point is the one value these nine rows carry reliably. Kling AI prints removal in the benefit list of four memberships, Pictory prints No watermark among the features of its cheapest plan, and both are making the same sales argument in opposite grammar. The register takes the tier and the list price and leaves the rhetoric where it was.
2What a sales document has no reason to describe
Nothing on any of these nine grids says what the mark looks like. Position on the frame, size, opacity, whether it moves, whether it survives a crop: none of it appears, because none of it helps sell a plan. A buyer who needs those details is reading the wrong genre of page, and this register does not invent them from screenshots.
The same silence covers the inside of the file. All nine of these rows record not documented in the machine-readable column, and the reason is structural rather than evasive: a provenance manifest is not a feature anybody upgrades to buy, so a grid built around upgrades has nowhere to put it. The documents that do name a standard are, without exception, written for a different reader.
3Two failure modes when a grid is all there is
The first is layout carrying meaning the text does not. Pika prints identical feature lines under all four plans and distinguishes them by an icon, so a reader who takes only the words away concludes that the free plan includes watermark-free download. The second is inheritance: LTX Studio describes each plan as the one below plus additions, which makes the absence of a line above the crossing point meaningless.
Both mean a grid has to be re-read whenever it is redesigned, not merely re-confirmed. That is the practical cost of these nine rows and the reason each one carries the date the grid was opened rather than the date the vendor last changed a price.

Every line above is read from the document named beside its row, on 2026-09-22. The same values in their register form are on the support table, and the rules for what a cell may hold are on the what earns a row page. Other kinds of source document: developer references, model cards.
