Model cards, where marking is a safety statement
Two generators here are read from a card published alongside the model. Both name a provenance standard, neither attaches a plan to it, and both describe detection in the same breath as marking. As of 2026-09-22.

Inclusion rule. Generators whose recorded values come from a document published with the model to describe its behaviour and safeguards, rather than from a commercial page. Order. Alphabetical by the name in the first column.
1Marking appears in a list of safeguards
Sora's system card puts a visible moving watermark on downloads, C2PA metadata on all assets and internal detection tools in one enumeration of provenance tooling. Amazon Nova Reel's service card does the same job in a different order: an invisible watermark on everything it generates, and on version 1.1 Content Credentials built on C2PA carrying the model and the platform that produced the file.
Listing the three together is the genre's signature. A pricing grid has a column for each plan; a card has a paragraph for each safeguard, and marking sits beside detection because both are answers to the same review question. That is why these are the only two generator rows on this register whose machine-readable cell is filled by the same document that fills their visible-mark cell.
2No tier, and therefore no removal
Neither card mentions a plan, a subscription or a switch. Sora's row records not documented in the paid-tier column for exactly that reason: the card attaches no commercial condition to the watermark it describes, and inferring one from the existence of a paid product would be inventing a value. Nova Reel's row says the same mark with no removal documented.
Read across the register, that is the clearest signal of who a document was written for. Nine generators publish a crossing point and no file contents; these two publish file contents and no crossing point. The two shapes rarely appear in the same company's documentation, which is a fact about publishing practice rather than about engineering.
3Cards are also where a caveat gets published
The Nova Reel user guide adds that a Content Credentials check should indicate the file was generated unless the metadata has been removed. That is a vendor stating the limit of its own mechanism, in writing, and it is the only durability caveat recorded anywhere on this site. A grid would never carry it because it weakens the feature.
Sora's version of the same honesty is narrower. Its detection tools are described as internal, which tells a receiving party that the signal exists and that they are not the ones who can read it. Both caveats matter more than the marking claims they qualify, and both are recorded as separate rows for that reason.
