Synthesia has no word for the mark and no field
Synthesia's plan features never use the word watermark, and no page names a provenance scheme, metadata field or detection route. Two different silences, on one pricing page. As of 2026-09-22.
| The reading | What it holds |

| The recorded value | Not documented |
| The vendor's own words | No provenance scheme, metadata field or detection route is named on the pricing page. |
| How the reading was taken | Read from a pricing page whose only marking line offers to remove a logo. |
Inclusion rule. One row for the value, one for the sentence or absence behind it, one for the method. Nothing here is drawn from output, support replies or coverage by anyone else. Order. Fixed order: the value, then its evidence, then the method.
1Two silences that compound each other
The first is ordinary: a pricing page says nothing about what a file carries, which nine rows here share. The second is not: the page has no word for the mark it removes except the vendor's own brand plus the word logo. Together they leave a reader with no term to search for and nothing to check.
The register keeps them as two rows. A vendor could adopt the standard vocabulary tomorrow without publishing anything about its files, or publish a manifest without changing a word of its grid. Merging the two findings would make either change invisible.
2What a logo implies about the arrangement
Remove Synthesia logo reads as a brand overlay rather than a provenance measure, and brand overlays are packaging. That framing is consistent with everything else on the page: the mark is a thing the free plan carries and the paid plans do not, in the way a feature is.
Nothing on the page decides the question, and the register does not infer a mechanism from a noun. What it records is that the vendor's own term for the mark is its brand, and that the file-contents column is empty, and lets a reader draw the connection or not.
3Why the silence matters on this product in particular
The output is a synthetic presenter: a person who does not exist, delivering words nobody said, to an audience that will usually not be told. Once the logo is removed by the arrangement the grid sells, nothing described anywhere marks the file as generated.
That is a statement about published pages, not about files. A vendor can write provenance data and never mention it, and several here probably do. What a register built from vendor statements can say is that a reader looking for something to check in such a file is given no name, no field and no route.
