What each generator documents about marking its output
How Veo marks its output
Veo (ai.google.dev) documents its marking in two sentences of API documentation, under Limitations: videos are watermarked with SynthID, and they can be verified using the SynthID verification platform. As of 2026-09-22.
Fig. 1 Nothing in the documentation describes a visible mark, a plan or a parameter, so those fields stay empty on this row.Fig. 2 Filled where the vendor publishes something in that field, hollow where its pages say nothing.
The four fields this site records, for Veo. Read from the vendor's Veo API documentation on 2026-09-22.
Inclusion rule. Fields are the same four for every generator on this site; a field the vendor does not publish is recorded as not documented rather than inferred from how the product behaves. Order. Fixed field order, identical on every generator page.
1Marking appears under Limitations, which is where the register found it
The statement is not in a plan table, a policy page or a trust centre. It sits in the developer documentation for the model, in the section that lists what a caller should expect to be constrained by, alongside the practical limits on requests. Placing it there is itself informative: the watermark is presented to developers as a property of the output they will receive, not as a feature they select or a benefit they buy.
Nothing in the documentation describes a visible mark on the frame, and nothing describes a parameter, plan or setting that changes the behaviour. Both of those fields are therefore recorded as not documented, which on this page is the more interesting half of the reading: an API that marks everything and publishes no way to ask it not to.
2The model entry and the marking-scheme entry are deliberately separate rows
This register keeps Veo among the generators and SynthID among the implementers, because the two publish different things. The generator documentation says that output from this model is marked and that verification exists. The scheme's own pages say what the signal is designed to survive, when it is written, and which routes exist for checking a file. Folding them into one row would attach the scheme's robustness claims to a model page that never makes them.
For a reader assembling footage the distinction is practical. Two separate facts have to hold before a file can be checked: the model has to have written the signal, and a route has to exist for whoever holds the file to read it. Veo's documentation is the only generator entry here that states both in the same breath, and it names the platform where the second one happens.

Every line above is read from the Veo API documentation published at ai.google.dev, checked 2026-09-22. The same four fields for every generator are on the support table, and the column definitions are on the fields pages. Next along the register: Synthesia, Wan.
