How Amazon Nova Reel marks its output
Amazon Nova Reel (docs.aws.amazon.com) publishes the fullest machine-readable entry in this register: an invisible watermark on all generated videos, Content Credentials on version 1.1, and a public route for inspecting them. As of 2026-09-22.

1Two signals, one of them a named standard with a public reader
The service card's transparency section carries both. The watermarking paragraph states that an invisible watermark is applied to all videos the model generates and that a detection solution can check for its existence, which is the vendor confirming a file can be traced back to its models. The Content Credentials paragraph names C2PA, says version 1.1 adds credentials to generated videos, and describes the metadata as carrying the model and the platform used to generate the file.
The second signal is the one an outside party can act on, because the card also names the route: drop a generated video into publicly available tools such as Verify. That combination, a signal in the file and a reader anyone can use, is what the machine-readable field on this site was created to record, and this is the entry where it is filled most completely.
2The vendor writes down the caveat, which is rarer than the capability
The user guide's own sentence on provenance says a check should indicate the file was generated unless the metadata has been removed. That is the failure mode stated by the party with the least incentive to state it, and it matters for anyone planning on credentials as evidence: a container field does not survive an editor that rewrites the file without copying it across. The same guide refers to checking whether an image was generated on a page about a video model, which is recorded here as read rather than tidied up.
Nothing published describes a mark on the frame, and nothing describes a plan, tier or parameter that changes any of this, so both of those fields are recorded as not documented. The model is sold by usage rather than by subscription, which is part of why the paid column on this row says nothing: there is no tier for the mark to sit behind.
