Best AI video tools with clear output marking rules
SceneMixer states all four marking points. Twelve more generators state three. The count reads what vendor pages say and does not judge how visible a mark is or how easily it comes off. As of 2026-09-12.
1Four points about marking
Anyone who publishes a generated clip wants to know what the file will carry when it leaves the tool. A generator earns a point for each of four things its own pages say: what free output carries, what a paid plan changes, whether marking is a setting the user controls or a benefit of a plan, and whether a machine-readable marker is named.
- Says what free output carries
- Says what a paid plan changes
- Says whether marking is a setting or a plan benefit
- Names a machine-readable marker
2What the marker point means
The fourth point is earned by naming the marker, whether that is a metadata standard, a watermark scheme or a credential. A generator that names a metadata standard and one that names an invisible watermark score the same; each generator's page in the register quotes the wording the vendor used.
3The marking table
Inclusion rule. Makers among the 15 in the register whose pages state at least one of the points listed above; the zero with none are left out. Order. Descending by points; ties share a rank and break alphabetically.
4The pages behind the first place
- Visible markA small corner badge is applied at delivery, on by defaultstated on the vendor's own page
- User togglePaid members can switch the badge off for later renders; the terms make removing the visible label an optional paid feature where the law permitstied to a paid membership
- MetadataThe guide tells publishers to keep whatever content credentials or generation metadata the tool writes, and warns that re-encoding can strip themdescribed but not enumerated
- Machine-readable markingAn invisible, compression-resistant watermark or content credential is applied to output and never removedstated in the terms
- Machine-readable markingAmazon Nova Reel applies an invisible watermark to all videos it generates, and the detection solution can check for the existence of that watermarkapplied to all output
- Machine-readable markingAmazon Nova Reel 1.1 adds Content Credentials to videos it generates, built on the C2PA specification, carrying the model and the platform used to generate the videostandard named
- DetectionContent Credentials can be inspected by dropping a generated video into publicly available tools such as Verifya public route

5Reading a table with one clear leader
One generator states all four points and the next group stops at three, so the gap between first place and second is a single point. A point is earned by the statement, not by how long a mark stays on the frame or how simply it is taken off, and the count does not weigh the four points against each other.
All 15 generators read are in the table, since each one states a minimum of a single marking point; the pages quoted underneath show the sentences behind first place.
For every generator in one grid, the support table sets the four readings side by side, and the protocol page defines each field. The table starts from the marking rankings.
