1A grant behaves differently from a tier
A recurring free plan produces a stream of files indefinitely. A one-time credit allocation produces a burst and then stops. The marking value is the same either way, and the population of files it describes is not: one is ongoing production by people who never intend to pay, the other is a short evaluation by people deciding whether to.
That is why this row is worth stating separately rather than folding into a general note about free plans. Material produced during an evaluation has a habit of surviving into finished work, usually because nobody wrote down which account it came from. A grant-shaped free tier makes that outcome likelier, not rarer.
2Two routes to the same model, one silent
Runway publishes API pricing on pages separate from its plan pricing, and the API pages do not repeat the watermark line. This register records the consumer plans, because that is where the statement exists, and it does not extend that statement across a boundary the vendor did not extend it across.
Where one company sells the same model through two routes, the route a file came from can decide what the file carries. Another generator on this register documents exactly that outcome for its own two surfaces, with opposite defaults on each. Here the second route is simply undocumented on the point.
3The wording, and why the cell repeats it
The recorded value is that the free plan's feature list does not include watermark-free output, which is a claim about the page. Free output is marked would be a claim about the product, and the page does not support it: the mark is never described, only the option to receive output without one.
Keeping that distinction in the cell text looks pedantic until a vendor changes one without the other. A grid can gain a watermark-free line for a plan whose output never carried a mark, and a mark can appear on output whose plan line never mentioned it. Recording what was read keeps both changes visible.
